As I pour my morning cup of coffee, I think through this week. This week, I felt so scattered. I had a million things I wanted to focus on with my blog and my store. Trying to decide what direction to take things in, wondering whether I needed to change or just keep going as I have been. Wanting to focus on so many things all at the same time. Completely changing direction so many times that I was no longer productive. It was absolutely maddening!
I had 2 incidents that made me really stop and think about what I was trying to accomplish. The first was a reply to one of my comments on Jadah Sellner's Instagram post about her new challenge roadmap (I love that she takes the time to reply to her followers!). I commented that I was working on creating 4 challenges, and her reply was to focus on the one thing I want to be known for. The 2nd incident was while I was listening to a podcast and the interviewee started talking about self-sabotage, how he kept changing direction and putting off the release of his podcast out of fear which, by the way, turned out to be extremely successful for him. He kept finding little things that he "needed" to do before he could launch.
What I took out of this week is that sometimes you need to take things back to the basics. Pick the one thing that resonates with you. Consider what your goal is and then determine the next step you will take to reach that goal. Stop trying to focus on the world, just focus on taking one step at a time. You will get there!
With that said, I am happy to announce that I have re-focused and decided that my one thing to help people shift their mindsets for success. I will be launching a 30-day Gratitude Challenge on May 15, 2019. This challenge is perfect for anyone who is beginning their personal development journey and also for those who need a reminder that gratitude is the path to success. The mindset shift from lack to gratitude is the 1st step on your path to success, whatever that may look like to you. Click here to join us for 30 days of gratitude and mindset shifting.
